Location. Reception staff were helpful.
On the day of check-out the cleaners began trying to get into the room at 8am and continued to do so every 20-30mins until we checked out! The noise was horrendous as they dragged hoovers up and down the corridor banging off the walls whilst having loud conversations/laughing right outside our door and shouting instructions to each other up and down the corridor. The room itself was clean, small and quite dated. The shower was ridiculous, there was no pressure so the water trickled out. It would have been quicker to wash under a bottle of water! Overall a poor hotel.

The hotel is tired and needs updating. The pillows were like pavement slabs and the T.V. didn't work very well.

The Hotel was excellent and really good value. Its comfortable clean and very free and easy. There were not very many guests when we stopped so it was rather quiet. The Rotunda lounge with its sea view and sunset is worth a stay on its own. The food was very tasty, well presented and plenty of it,you wont go hungry here. The outside pool has heated at 80f Will certainly be going there again

It was quiet and had lots of free parking on site.
We are in our early fifties and felt very young compared to most of the other guests. The system? For breakfast seating was very strange. All the tables were set up for eating and had reserved signs even though most of the breakfast room was empty, this was half an hour before cut off time. We had to sit next to the kitchen with the constant coming and going of the staff as well as the loud radio and look out on a nearly empty room.

This hotel was a great find. It was close to a fantastic fish restaurant by the sea and the lighthouse and is in a nice peaceful location. There is a bus stop right by the hotel although we hired a car for the weekend. It was great value - you don't need to book a sea view room - we opted for a cheaper room but still could see the sea. The staff were really helpful, gave my husband a printout of the tide timetable as he likes fishing and there was a really good breakfast with pleasant staff. They have recently added a bar to the hotel and there is a nice pool area overlooking the sea. Should be 3* not 2*. Will go again.
The tv wasn't great - only one channel working but we didn't go away for a weekend to watch tv.

I loved the peace of the place. Very quiet and relaxing. No pressure into having to take part in anything, because there was nothing on anyway, but it wasn't that kind of holiday. Location is amazing and so beautiful. Staff lovely and helpful. Thank you for a lovely quiet time.
Nothing, it suited my purpose which was as a base for visiting family. The only thing I would comment on is you can't get a latte or a cappucino coffee. No machine I presume.

Quiet location of natural beauty but with a good bus service. The hotel building is pleasing to the eye. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the bathroom well kept and all serviced each morning by an efficient staff. Receptionist was friendly and willing to answer any query and arrange for taxi, car hire, newspaper and provide local knowledge, The food was well presented and cooked though there could have been a slightly more extensive menu; staff in the restaurant were smart and served food well and were overseen quietly and efficiently. The outdoor pool and patio and furniture are well maintained. Children enjoyed the swings, slides and other outdoor facilities as well as the indoor facilities for older ones.
We did not get information about the available facilities and had to find them for ourselves, including the very comfortable upstairs lounge with panoramic views, the bar and guest laundry room. However if we had asked I'm sure we would have been told.

I appreciated the location (very calm, amazing view, superb part of Jersey) and the breakfast. The ideal place to explore the beaches! The staff was very efficient and kind.
The room was fine, but the windows weren't totally clean. Also, on the first day, the room was a little bit smelly (as if the windows haven't been opened for some time). Our door didn't isolate the sound well, thus one could here people chatting loudly on Skype in the corridor (where sofas and wifi are installed) until midnight. I was surprised that the staff authorized such behavior, night after night.

Peace and quiet, apart from the snoring person next door.
Noise insulation is not good.

Location and views excellent, staff friendly.
No wi-fi in rooms, despite what it says! Rather old-fashioned - back to the 1980s.
